I have not received the notice that you state you sent on 27 February 2013.Can you provide evidence that the vehicle was stopped constantly in that location for the full period and, if not, that the total time “parked” is more than the free parking period, which, by the way, you have failed to state how long the free parking period actually is. I also recall from the night that my wife made a number of trips along this stretch of motorway and may have stopped at Moto Chieveley on more than one occasion. I would not consider this “parked” as the battery on my vehicle would be dead if left with the headlights on for over three hours without the engine running. I also note that the headlights are shown as being on in both the pictures taking at 19:40 and 23:17.I no longer have contact details for her and I understand her visa has now been revoked. However, I am unable to provide her contact details as she has since been arrested by the police for drugs and firearms related offences and has been deported to her home country of Russia. It was parked by my wife as she was using the vehicle for purposes I do not wish to disclose. I would like to appeal against this charge notice on the following grounds: I have been forwarded a ‘Charge Notice Reminder’ from my former address, reference number 0449130217008 in relation to vehicle registration XXXXX which you state was parked at Moto Chieveley on 17 February 2013 in excess of the free parking period.
